Down to four Well my little baby, Kyri died last Tuesday. I posted about her before, she was the one that I found at a petstore that was not spayed and was half died from hormone toxicity and a huge uterine infection! Anyway, after that was cleared up, we found out that she had insulinoma. So on tuesday we went to the vet for the surgery to get them removed. I'm a vet tech so I was allowed to start in the surgery ward with her. And they found two good sized (one about the size of my thumb nail and the other about half that) on her pancrease. She did so good through out the whole thing. When it wasa time for you to walk up and go home, God called to her and asked her to stay with him. She just never woke up. She was around 3-4. I'm wondering if her having a rough medical start in her life made the tumors more severe, bc i've only had her a little over a year and all this happened over that period of time. What do you think? has the hormone toxicity ever been seen in being any cause to other things like the cancer she had?
Any way, I just wanted to talk it out with others who have gone through this sort of thing and may know some answers. My fiancee is ready for a new baby now, but we are moving in a few months and so I told him we could get one them. 4 just seems so few for some reason! lol |
