best action to take with adrenal disease
First let me say thank you to whom started this site :)

second I apologize if this has been covered but I did not find and other topics in search that have what I needed :)

I have a almost 2 year old female ferret that over the past few days has developed a large 1"x3" thinning and balding spot on the back of her neck, and through the powers of Google I believe it to be adrenal disease.

so at this point I would like to have some options, from what I can see its surgery or injections,

how much do injections run?
can I buy / give them myself?
or
would surgery be better and just use a supplement if both glands need to be removed?

also are there any veterinarians that someone could recommend in Lexington?

is there a forum to introduce yourself and ferrets?
if not then
Hello I'm Adam I live in Lexington, KY.
I have 2 ferrets
Paris - female, approximate age 4, sable, was found and taken to a local pet store then placed with me due to my allergy's to cats been love ever since :)
the next day I went and adopted Nibbles - female, age 22 months, white gray coloring.

over the past couple of months I must be killing them because Paris seems like she is thinning down and Nibbles is going bald
